Job Description:

Roche Diagnostics is a world leader in the development of in vitro diagnostic tests and has been a pioneer in detecting and managing illness for over 50 years. We serve the entire healthcare system – from research institutions, hospitals and commercial laboratories, to clinicians and patients.

Our pioneering technologies and solutions can aid in the diagnosis of disease, determine the risk of disease, predict how a disease may progress, and enable the best treatment decisions. Through our successful collaborations with laboratories, we provide diagnostic tests that support clinical decision making needed for life-changing decisions.

The role:

Based in the Dublin area, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Apprentice to join our award-winning organisation. This 4-year Apprenticeship will see you studying toward a diploma in electrical instrumentation with a local approved training provider in Dublin and Carlow. Alongside your college study you will work with other qualified team members to learn the practical skills required to be a Field Service Engineer with Roche Diagnostics. You will be required to travel in and around Dublin, as well as across other parts of Ireland.

Who are you?

You will have excellent practical skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a team with good problem solving and communication skills. It’s also important to us that you have a passion for developing a career in engineering with an interest in science and desire to learn new skills.
