Our busy Drogheda dealership is one of the largest in the North East and due to expansion and further future business opportunities we are restructuring our organisation, hence a new opportunity for a Workshop & Technical Manager.

About the role: The new Workshop & Technical Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the workshop.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage the day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring the most efficient operation.

Ensure all work is of the quality to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

Own the key metrics and KPI’s within the role.

Optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Ensure all technical operatives are correctly trained in all relevant areas.

Identify and resolve any customer issues.

Provide feedback to Head of Aftersales on any quality issues.

Through the WMG Training Academy, develop, train and motivate the workshop team, creating an environment where the team excel.

Manage technical teams including responsibility for communication, training and ongoing performance appraisals as required.

Improve on the quality of Western Motors Group commitment to customer service

Manage risk assessment for the aftersales division and keep up to date records.

Be familiar with, comply with, and ensure workshop staff comply with all conditions laid out in the Company operating manual and follow all health and safety policies and procedures.

An ability to build relationships and mentor and develop others.

Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and have the proven ability to use your own initiative.

You are required to have a full driving licence.
