Brand Manager - Maternity Cover, 12 Month FTC

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company highly committed to improving the quality of life of people suffering from brain diseases.

The Role:

Reporting to the Country Manager, our client is seeking a marketing professional with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for the coordination, execution and implementation of marketing activities in Ireland with guidance from the Business Area.


You will have responsibility for the Marketing, Sales and Financial functions for the brand. This will include but not limited to:-

Draw up tactical marketing plans for relevant products, within the Business Area Brand Team

Implement the various elements of the tactical plans, on time, in-line with expectations and within budget

Organise brand relevant meetings in accordance with annual business plan to help build the brand

Oversee attendance and logistics of HCPs attending international congresses, liaising with sales team, HCPs and 3rd party local and international event management agencies, budget management for the international congresses

Control the promotional budget per relevant product and evaluate the effectiveness and value of marketing initiatives

Processing monthly invoices, raising and receipting POs on the CPS system, approving invoices on the Vendor Invoice System (VIM) & liaising with finance at month end

Develop close working relationship with the sales team, point of contact for any sale team product queries/customer queries & general market feedback

Liaise with sales team/Country Manager on potential projects/initiatives that can benefit the products

Ensure our client is compliant with the IPHA code

Liaise with 3 rd Party agencies and negotiating contracts


Several years of Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry (previous Product Manager/Brand Manager roles)

Relevant Third level Qualification preferably within Marketing or a Business discipline

Excellent communication skills

Excellent multitasking skills

Reliable and can work autonomously when needed


Fully up to date on the latest IPHA code and requirements

Familiar with IMS datasets and monthly analysis of the data


To report all adverse events and other relevant information about the safety of products to the Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance Manager within 24 hours of receipt
