Experienced Sales Representative (Office based)

The Electro Automation Group are commonly acknowledged as Ireland’s leading automation and integrated solutions company. We require an experienced successful sales executive to further develop our high-performance sales channels. This position will be office based. The successful candidate will recognise the importance of selectively leveraging email, social media, webinars and video conferencing to maximize productivity and enhance the customers’ experience.

You must be ambitious, self-starting and be well versed in organised time management in order to secure results. Candidates should have at least 5 years sales experience, preferably within the construction, electronic, security or automation industries, however full training will be given.

This office-based sales role is a new and important position within Electro, recognising the changing way we are doing business post Coronavirus onset. We need a capable and experienced person who will accept this challenge and who will carve a long-term career within this quickly developing sales segment.

Candidates must be IT literate and have a competent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience using CRM software, Teams and Zoom will be advantageous.

Job Description

Achieve or exceed realistic weekly, monthly and annual sales targets
Create a growing sales pipeline
Bring sales projects from enquiry to fruition
Create and respond to tenders as a tender leader
Increase our sales of maintenance and support contracts
Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
Carry out sales forecasts, analysis and present findings to management.
Update CRM programme in a timely manner recording all sales activity
Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
Seek out the appropriate new contacts
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Understand the needs of our customers and respond effectively
Think strategically - see the big picture and set aims and objectives
Develop and improve the business
Have an excellent technical understanding of our products and services
Create promotional strategies and activities with the team
Liaise with the other departments as appropriate
Keep abreast of market and product trends


Salary: A basic wage of €40,000 with a minimum OTE of €64,000 and an expected OTE of €76,000. We do not cap earnings and we add financial support during training.
