Sheehy Motor Group is currently welcoming applications for the role of Service Advisor. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our aftersales team in Naas and in return we offer an excellent opportunity to develop your career with one of Ireland’s premier motor retailers.
The successful candidate will be provided with in-depth training in all aspects of the Service process at Sheehy Motors and will become an integral part of the Aftersales Team. This is a demanding position, and the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be process driven. Whilst prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous, we will consider applicants who can demonstrate prior experience within a customer service environment.
The main areas of responsibility will be:
To provide all customers with systematic and qualified support and assistance in all phases of the service process, in order to deliver successful results and to enhance customer satisfaction as the basis for long-term building and maintaining of loyalty to the brand and the Dealership
Commit every effort to attaining the targets and goals set by the Service Management Team
Ensure that the dealership's service department contributes to the customer's satisfaction with service delivery by providing a high quality of work.
To deal with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner both by phone and in person
Determine workshop availability and manage bookings to ensure maximum workshop efficiency
Manage service customer appointments efficiently and liaise with customer as appropriate
To deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and adopt a positive approach which will encourage exceptional levels of customer care
Achieve consistently high standards across the dealership and identify new ways to increase the performance
Prior experience as a Service Advisor within the Irish Motor Industry or alternatively experience of working in a customer service environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing customers with an exceptional level of service.
Possess a strong desire to succeed in a targeted & competitive environment
Can clearly demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organisational skills
Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional and corporate image both in-person and over the phone
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A disciplined approach to following the service process from start to finish, with strong attention to detail
Be fluent in verbal and written English.
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of ADP Kerridge would be a distinct advantage
Full, Clean Driving Licence
