Electrician – Property Maintenance

Simpson Property Maintenance Limited was established in 2019 and is rapidly becoming one of Leinster’s leading property maintenance companies. Now in our third year of business, SPM has been established as the partner of choice for an extensive list of property management agents, landlords and private clients. This company is fast growing with a dynamic and professional team who always aim to ensure works are carried out to high specifications and always deliver the highest of quality finishes. Due to the business demand and the number of clients requests we now have the opportunity for an Electrician to join the team immediately.
The role will involve:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Maintaining a professional manner at all times whilst providing assessments and advice for customers and clients
Review maintenance work orders work as detailed by the client or property agent and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
Sourcing and purchasing materials as necessary to facilitate the speedy and effective service for the client
Ensure that all equipment and products are left in a safe manner for customers to use
Maintain all records with regard to client installations and work carried out.
Report service repairs and work status to Scheduling Manager daily, communicating customer feedback and extra requirements where appropriate.
Adhere to safety and health regulations and obligations, together with all Company Policies and Procedures.
Maximise revenue opportunities by identifying revenue opportunities on site and by informing the Company of new site developments.
Checking in and out of jobs on service app as well as logging receipts on expense app.

A Trade Certification
Valid Safe pass and valid Manual Handling Cert
Full clean driver’s licence
5 years post apprenticeship experience - Must have extensive knowledge on repair and fault finding.
RECI qualification; not necessary but an advantage in the application process
Proficient iphone and app user; this is an essential part of your role.
Own test equipment desirable but not essential.
Liaise with Customers and Clients in a professional manner whilst strictly adhering to Covid-19 guidelines
Installation of product on site to a high and consistent standard
Complete quality inspections and report non-conformance's
Ensure all documentation associated with the project is completed
