Designer Group are currently looking to recruit Apprentice Electricians and Plumbers. This is a four year programme, which includes 7 different phases both on the job and off the job (with SOLAS).
Our Apprentice Mentorship Programme is designed to Inspire, Collaborate and Engage our apprentices through:
A week long induction process ensures that they have the necessary tools and knowledge to transition into the working environment and further study.
The ICE programme enables, the apprentices to learn from their mentor but to learn from each other through online collaboration.
We have a dedicated team of on site and off-site mentors who support them to reach the high standards that we strive for in everything we do.
Evaluation & Feedback:
Our evaluation process is both inspiring and encouraging as we assist all apprentices to reach their individual potential.
We have also established a purpose-built Training Academy, where our apprentices and our qualified trades people can avail of extra training and upskilling on a regular basis, supervised by our Training Director.
During their apprenticeship with us, apprentices have the opportunity to work in one of our international offices gaining experience in the Pharma, Commercial, Industrial and Data Centre industries. Through each step of their apprenticeship we both challenge and encourage them to be the best they can.
The ideal candidate we are seeking:
A hardworking and reliable individual with exceptional time keeping skills, the individual must show eagerness, be willing to learn and have a strong interest in the sector. Ideally an individual with on site experience, but not necessary.
The requirements include:
-Completed Irish Leaving Certificate.
-Passed Ordinary Maths at Established Leaving Certificate Level.
