We have exciting opportunities for 1st Year Apprentice Pipefitters to join Suir Engineering. Suir Engineering is part of the EDF/Dalkia Group with offices in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

We deliver leading edge next generation solutions to clients by designing, building, and installing Data Centres, Pharma and Medical Device plants and HV energy and renewables systems.

We offer standard rates plus €181.68 tax free lodge per week for any projects outside of County Waterford.

At present we are actively recruiting for Kildare.

1st Year Pipefitting Apprentices - What you will be doing?

You will be learning and developing new and practical craft-related skills, knowledge and competence by:

Interpreting pipefitting drawings and specifications; Planning and sketching piping systems.

Pipefitting, pipe jointing and pipe bending; Inspecting and testing of piping systems and fault diagnosis.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems.

Planning and organising the installation of piping systems.

You will gain hands on experience with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of cooling and heating systems, compressed air systems, high power systems, chemical storage and processing systems, nuclear power systems, oil, gasoline and natural gas storage and processing systems, air handling units, industrial and process gases and liquids.

Is this the job for me?

Minimum O5 in Leaving Certificate Maths

Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling Training Certifications.

Interest in Mechanical or Electrical systems

Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude. Good work ethic and solutions focused.

Appreciate the importance of adherence to all safety regulations. Safety First at all times.
