The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a safe clean environment and catering in a creche environment.
No formal qualification is required; however, candidates who have undertaken training and hold valid current certification will be preferred.
Ability to understand and follow safety precautions and directions and a willingness to attend further training and development is essential to the role as it evolves with the needs of the service
Proven experience in catering using a HACCP system of food safety is preferred
Experience operating housekeeping equipment and maintaining a rigorous cleaning programme which will include deep cleaning where necessary.
Record keeping is integral to the role; candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English and have necessary communication, literacy and record keeping skills.
Candidates must have an interest in working in a childcare service with children and be able to engage with children on a daily basis
Must be flexible, self motivated and able to work alone as well as take direction and work as part of a team

Applicants must supply two suitable written references if selected for interview.
Applicants must be in a position to submit their details for Garda Vetting. International police clearance/vetting is required if a candidate has lived outside of Ireland.
