Grady Architects Ltd. is an established, Westport based practice working on a wide range of projects mainly in the residential, commercial and educational sectors. We are looking for an experienced Architect with exceptional design and management skills, to join our team.

The role will involve providing leadership for an enthusiastic team of Architects and Technologists in developing a range of very exciting projects, which we are developing, as well as managing all of the day-to-day aspects of running projects including: liaising with clients, coordination of design teams, developing planning, fire safety, DAC and tender packages, chairing meetings, writing reports, site investigations and all areas of contact administration. We are open to discussing flexible working options to support employees’ different needs. Our practice would be suitable for a person/persons wishing to relocate to Westport for the attractive work life balance that Westport offers. A town, which was recently voted the best place to live in Ireland.

Job Requirements
Registered Architect with 5-10 years experience/person eligible to seek registration without further assessment
Creative and innovative design skills
Pro-active and motivated team player with an ability to multi-task
Excellent leadership and communication skills as a team player
Experience of realising built projects
Understanding of RIAI, Public Works Contracts, and Building Regulations/BCAR
Ability to work accurately in fast-paced environment
Proficient in Autocad, Sketch Up, Adobe and MS Office skills. Revit desirable but not essential
Excellent technical knowledge
Experience in delivering contracts and managing design teams, contractors and clients
Full driver’s licence
