Duties and Responsibilities:
Non-negotiable attitude towards site and employee safety.
Repair Ochsner and Non- Ochsner products on site as required.
Carry out work in a professional manner and complete assigned work for the day.
Manage van stock, maintenance of equipment/vehicle.
Ensure customer satisfaction before, during and after the work has been provided.
Dismantling of product for removal from site.
Installation of new equipment and fault diagnosis.
Adhere to site guidelines and work in a safe manner.
Removal of faulty parts.
Removal of refrigerant.
Pressure testing/vacuum of refrigeration systems.
Charging of refrigerant to correct weight/pressure.
Advising customer on products and usage.
Correct use of PPE and usable condition.
Ensure controllers are set to factory specifications.
Must use diligence when dealing with all personally identifiable information in accordance with current data protection regulations.
Excellent communication skills, and an ability to influence and use diplomacy with clients and colleagues.
Ability to supervise engineers in a pressurised environment dealing with store teams and members of the public.
Ability to provide technical support achieving efficient solutions to problematic issues - where necessary supporting the major incident process.

Ability to solve electrical problems on refrigeration units.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a small team of engineers.
Be prepared to work flexible hours.
The ability to cover a call out rota.

Must have basic skills in gas welding & brazing.
Must complete general duties, within the capability of the post holder, and as agreed with the department manager.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
· Gas handling experience - R407c / R134A / R410A most common.
· F-GAS Accredited
· Must be able to work on their own initiative
· Demonstrable diagnosis skills on commercial integral refrigeration equipment
· In depth knowledge of refrigeration/electrical systems
· Understanding of wiring diagrams/schematics
· Brazing skills
· Full valid driving license
· Refrigeration Engineer: 3 years (Preferred) Pay is dependent upon ability and experience
