Job Description:

Our client is now seeking a Business Development Manager for their business in the transport and haulage industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Will work closely with the Managing Director to secure new work for the business
  • Source out, create and build strong relationships with new clients/Prioritise and target new customers / accounts / business opportunities.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Maintaining existing relationship
  • Will assist with the scheduling of work.
  • Assist with the day to day business activities as require

Requirements

  • Experience in the Haulage industry
  • Outstanding sales experience, proven results with key accounts.
  • Strong planner
