Apprentice Mechanical Automotive Maintenance Fitter

As an Apprentice MAMF you will be responsible for:
• Routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment and machinery in an efficient and safety driven manner
• Development and implementation of plant wide preventative maintenance programme
• Diagnosing breakdowns
• Liaising with external contractors to schedule work on site and ensuring that all such work is fully approved in advance and completed to the required standards
• Sourcing, ordering and installing parts on machinery and equipment in conjunction with Purchasing Manager and Plant Manager
• Ensuring that high safety standards are adhered to at all times, by both company employees and external contractors
• Any other relevant duties / responsibilities

To be considered for this role:
• Applicants should have a genuine interest in becoming a qualified MAMF
• Successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of the trade and applicants must be eligible to undertake the SOLAS Standard Based Apprenticeship Programme
• Applicants must have excellent time keeping and flexibility to work when required
• Applicants must display willingness to learn new skills and competencies as directed by your Supervisor
• Experience in Construction / Manufacturing Industry beneficial
• Proficiency in English is essential
