DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team as an apprentice electrician. As an apprentice electrician within the lift industry you will work with experienced lift engineers/electricians to learn and understand the lift industry including installation, maintenance, repair and modernisation of lift and escalator equipment.
The apprenticeship is carried out over a four year period in conjunction with Solas with the successful candidate receiving an electrical craft level 6 qualification.
To be successfully shortlisted for the apprentice scheme you must be:

1: Qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard.
2: Must have five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these)
3: Submit an Ishihara colour vision test – it must be on the Solas form
4: Subject to interview and reference checks
5: Own transport would be an advantage but not necessary.
