Traditional Cheese Company Ltd (TCC) - experts in speciality cheese and fine foods. The company is 100% Irish owned and have been supplying Ireland’s market with Irish and Continental products for over 30 years. Quality and Excellence are central to TCC along with the service we provide to our customers. TCC has achieved AA grade for both BRC Food and BRC Storage and Distribution Certification. In our high care area, we cut pasteurised and unpasteurised cheese which we pack into vacuum bags or hand wrap and label. We also wholesale, store and distribute cheese, dairy, cured meats, tinned goods, pre-pack sauces, bulk flour and pasta. In addition, we pack products into selections such as cheeseboards, presentation boxes and shelf-ready boxes. We are currently expanding our processes and are looking to employ a quality administrator.
The Ideal Candidate
To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate should:
Hold a minimum Level 6 qualification in the area of Food or Food Safety.
Be proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook and have strong computer skills
Have excellent administrative and organizational skills with a good attention to detail.
Have the ability to work as part of a team
Be an effective communicator who can develop good working relationships at all levels, escalating issues as appropriate.
Role & Responsibilities
Ensure products supplied are to the highest possible standard with in regard to product safety, quality, authenticity and legality.
Interpret and comply with the food safety management system implemented at Traditional Cheese Company
Assist with internal and external audits such as BRC, Department of Agriculture and customer audits.
Ensure raw material speculations are up to date and on file for every product.
Completion of customer specifications and quality attribute sheets.
Actively participate in New Product Development and follow the appropriate procedure.
Dealing with non-conformances and customer complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
Ensure all quality files are updated as required.
Scheduling Maintenance, Calibration and other routine services in a timely manner.
Maintaining the HACCP system within the company.
Ensuring full traceability is achieved for each product.
Respond to customer quality requests promptly.
Participate in training on and off-site when required.
