Summary of Role

The role of the Production Operative is to help deliver the right production volume output to the right quality standards in an efficient manner and to demonstrate and encourage Barclay culture and values in all aspects of the team’s work.

Responsibilities

Assemble goods on a production line.
Feed packaging materials into machines.
Monitor the production process
Carry our basic quality checks
Store goods and packaging appropriately in the warehouse
Use lifting equipment and forklifts in a safe manner to fulfil orders when certified.
Pack goods ready for shipping
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times
Report any issues or defects immediately to the Line Lead / Team Lead
Maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations as outlined by the EHS Team.
To take a proactive role in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing systems and the application of problem solving methodology.
