Job Duties:
Ability to accurately read & interpret engineering drawings.
Welding to a high standard using a three phase MIG welder.
Tacking & final welding steel.
Operating workshop machinery.
Working in a meticulous manner, paying close attention to workmanship.
Working in line with set efficiency and quality standards.
Operating in line with H&S policy relative to the workshop environment.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Engaging with company MRP system.

Qualifications / Experience:
Essential Criteria:
Welding qualification.
Ability to read & accurately interpret engineering drawings.
Experience using a three phase MIG welder to tack & final weld steel.
Previous experience using a range of workshop machinery.
Ability to work in line with set efficiency and quality targets.
Knowledge of H&S relative to the workshop environment.
Good communication skills both verbal & written.
Strong numeracy & literacy skills.
Computer literate (basic).
Willingness to be flexible in accordance with business needs.
Any other duties, within reason & capability, as determined by team leader.

Desirable Criteria:
Experience in a precision engineering environment.
Experience working in a hydraulics setting.
Recognised as fully coded by a relevant awarding body.
Knowledge of welding automation processes is advantageous but not essential.
