Junior Site Engineer – Shannon

OCC Construction is currently recruiting a junior site engineer to join our project team in Shannon & the west of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out setting out using total station and GPS equipment
Support the coordination of information between the design team, client and subcontractors
Maintain accurate daily site records and project information in Procore; training will be provided
The monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, programs, and building standards
Support the implementation of quality, ISO, and Health & Safety procedures
Review project documents and attend relevant site meetings
Report on engineering progress and issues to the Project Manager and senior project team
Assist with project close-out, including as-built records, warranties, guarantees and subcontractor documentation
Promote safe working practices and report any concerns promptly.

Requirements

Engineering degree
At least one year of experience in a similar construction role
Experience using setting-out equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAD
Understanding of Health & Safety requirements on Irish construction sites
Full Irish driver's license
Authorisation to work in Ireland
