Commis Chef

Candidates' responsibilities will include but are not limited to; 

·       Assists Kitchen team in the daily running.

·       Daily menu design, portion control and learning costing of menu item in their section. 

·       Take full responsibility for individual implementation of HACCP plan.

·       Work very closely with Chef Manager to achieve budgeted GP.

·       Helping in achieving 'satisfactory' outcome in all EHO inspection.

·       Helping in achieving required pass mark in all Q&S audits, internal & client.

·       Ensure effective corrective actions are implemented for near misses, incidents & accidents within the operation.

·       Ensure all HACCP for delivery, cooking and storage of food are up to date and signed off by your manager.

·       Focus speed of service during peak times.

·       Have the ability to work with the existing team to exceed customer expectations.  

Candidates must possess:

·       Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role.

·       Implementation and relevant HACCP controls.

·       Flexibility and the ability to innovate in all relevant areas.

·       Strong organisational skills.

·       Knowledge of HACCP.

·       Customer focused and keen to interact with customers on a daily basis.

·       Ability to maintain standards, quality and innovation on a daily basis.

·       Good Computer skills.

·       Ability to provide quick, effective, and creative solutions to problems.
